GENERAL MEETINGS
General meetings are held at the United Reformed Church, Widmore Road, Bromley at 10.30 am on the third Tuesday each month.
Tuesday 21 February - Helen Rappaport, well known author, is our speaker and she will talk about her latest book “Magnificent Obsession”, the life of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, which received very good reviews this year.
Tuesday 20 March - ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Tuesday 17 April - Geoff Hutchinson will make a welcome return to Bromley with a talk about an eccentric Georgian squire, entitled “John (Mad Jack) Fuller”. This talk is delivered in costume.
THEATRE GROUP - Although this is not an ‘OPEN’ group members are welcome to attend. There is an annual membership fee of £2, with an additional £1.50 charge at each meeting.to help cover speakers’ fees and a cup of tea. We invite visiting speakers to cover all aspects of professional and amateur entertainment. We also arrange visits to London and regional theatres.
Meetings are held in Bromley Central Library (above), Large hall , 4th floor on the second Thursday of each month 1430 to 1630. Membership cards should be shown on entry. No meeting in August.
