GENERAL MEETINGS
General meetings are held at the United Reformed Church, Widmore Rd. Bromley at 1030 am on the third Tuesday each month.
July 15 - Marjorie Lyle will give a talk about almshouses over the centuries entitled ‘The Worthy Poor’. August 19 - Tony Boullemier will give a talk about the Emperor Louis Napoleon III who lived and died in Chislehurst in the 1800’s.
THEATRE GROUP - Although this is not an ‘OPEN’ group members are welcome to attend. There is an annual membership fee of £2, with an additional £1.50 charge at each meeting. We invite visiting speakers to cover all aspects of professional and amateur entertainment. We also arrange visits to London and regional theatres.
Meetings are held in Bromley Central Library (above), Large hall , 4th floor on the 2nd Thursday each month, 1430 to 1630. Membership cards should be shown on entry. No meeting during August.
