First outing of the Curry Club

Well, 24 of us turned up for lunch at the Shampan Bromley and were well fed and watered. The waiting staff were hugely accommodating and allowed us to pay for drinks as we went along. The idea of sorting that out was terrifying! Next time I'll ask for the meal money upfront. I'll always choose somewhere with a fixed price menu which should make it easier.  24 full tummies, a lot of laughter. A convivial lunchtime that, as far as I'm aware, left no one feeling excluded. Surely this is what U3A is all about.
