Bright Young Things ain’t wot they used to be! You’re having a laugh! We’ve left our grandchildren inside and we’re off to the pub. Is this why they’ve joined the u3a? That was a good session, we feel younger already Dream on! They should have gone to Specsavers! All young at heart

We should wear these more often, they’re more comfortable than the crowns. The King and I. Who was responsible for this uniform? No sword! Darling, they’re playing our tune. You can keep your hat on. Chairman of the Windsor u3a and his partner wish their subjects a Merry Christmas. Wishing you an Elfy New Year. The crown just got too heavy

Shall we dance madam? Are you familiar with the gavotte? Past and present. Sorry, I’m already married. All dressed up and nowhere to go. We weren’t told it was formal. The queue to see the consultant at St Bart’s this week was very festive

He’s behind you! The Magnificent Seven waiting for lift-off (when the red weight is dropped) He’ll never get all those balloons on the bus. Elephants sometimes forget their Santa hats but always remember the balloons. Bromley u3a’s latest recruit proves to be an absolute whizz at blowing up balloons. The elephant in the room doesn’t usually come with balloons.

Christmas shopping can be such fun! Bottle babes having a bubbly time. First take you’re top off, then we’ll sing Glass? What glass? Where’s the corkscrew? It doesn’t need one, just use your teeth. Supermarket swigging I feel a song coming on. Not weaned off their bottles yet! Good job we’ve got new implants. u3a events team sample the Bucks Fizz before purchasing.

It’s not quite what I expected when I asked Santa for a hat-stand. Where did you get that hat? Is he frozen to the spot? Do you think he needs a drink? No I think he’s had enough already. Great hat; shame about the statue. Is that King William? Dunno, but he looks very cold. Must be chilly Willy then. Well at least he knows its Christmas. Do you see what I see? I’d rather not.
