How to date a feminist at Bromley Little Theatre (matinee)
26th September 2026

Bromley Little Theatre is such a thriving place that apart from monthly shows in the main theatre they also have a monthly bar show with matinees on Saturday for both main auditorium shows and bar shows. This month a small group went to see 'How to date a Feminist'. This is an intimate experience where the actors and audience are very close together. It must be quite a feat to direct and perform in this small area and still put over such an incredible performance.
The play is a romantic comedy turned upside down: it’s the man who’s the feminist! Meet Steve, son of a Greenham Common activist, who proposes to Kate with a lengthy apology for the patriarchy. On their first date, he asks to kiss her collarbone, citing 'explicit verbal consent'. Unfortunately, Kate prefers lipstick, cupcakes, and Heathcliff!
The whole run was fully booked which is really good to see and if you haven’t yet been to Bromley Little Theatre give it a go.
