LOWE trip to Dalston on 15th October
28th October 2026
We walked from Dalston station to Canonbury Place via De Beauvoir Square and some very select, almost traffic-free roads. Canonbury Tower, a Tudor Grade II listed building was impressive. New River walk was surprisingly peaceful - the watercourse was constructed in 609-16 to bring fresh water to London and the gardens planted in the 1860’s. Major restoration carried out in 1998.
